Howard Zinn

Born August 24, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York and died January 27, 2010 in Santa Monica, California.

Zinn was an American historian, and author. He was a professor of political science at Boston University from 1964 to 1988. Zinn wrote extensively about the civil rights, civil liberties and anti-war movements.

Zinn also joined the United States Air Force during WWll that started his movement against war. Zinn wrote several anti-war books that consisted of more then 20 books.

He got his BA at New York University and got his MA at Columbia.

He was also a civil rights activist and constantly protested with others at segregated hotels.
